RPAC-NM Trustees


RPAC-New Mexico, the political action committee of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®, has a total of five (5) openings for Trustees in three of the five NMAR Districts.  The openings are in the following districts:

  • Northwest District (one opening),
  • Northeast District (one opening), and
  • Central District (three openings).

All positions are for three-year terms (January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023).  Applicants are to be sent to your local board president.

The timeline: 

May 15 – CEO Shall Notify the DVPS, RPAC-NM Trustees, Board Presidents and AEs of all Trustee openings and solicit applications. NMAR membership will be notified.

June 15 – Deadline for members to apply to their local board president (applications sent to local board presidents).

June 30 – Deadline for board presidents to send applications to their DVP (all applications need to be sent to the DVP).

July 1 – July 31 – District Selection Committees meet to select their Trustee (DVP sets up a meeting of the District Selection Committee or with the association presidents;  group selects person(s) to serve as a Trustee).

August 1 – Deadline to forward the name(s) of selected applicant(s) to the Government Affairs Director.  (DVP forwards the name of the person(s) that has/have been selected to the GAD).
