The REALTORS® Association of New Mexico (RANM) and the Commercial Association of REALTORS® New Mexico (CARNM) presented checks totaling $31,322.33 on Monday, October 27, 2014 to the Rotary Club of Albuquerque as part of the Rotary’s effort to raise money for Explora, Albuquerque’s interactive children’s museum.

RANM’s contribution totals $16,431.16 and CARNM’s total is $14,891.17.   RANM raised the money via a raffle conducted this summer. CARNM raised money through their golf tournaments.   The funds will join moneys raised by the Rotary Club of Albuquerque to help fund Explora’s planned additional 4,000 square foot exhibit space, “Working Together to Build a Village.” This new space will enable visitors to experiment with a number of science and engineering principles as they explore. These and other activities will take place on a renovated Community Deck, covered by a retractable shade structure that will make the deck usable year round.
