Legislative Committee Openings

NMAR is accepting applications to serve as a member of the Legislative Committee.

  • Legislative Committee Members work to determine the Quality of Life Statements which guide the committee and NMAR Staff in developing the Legislative Priorities
  • The committee also uses the statements and priorities to take a position on legislation introduced by the New Mexico State Legislature
Applications are due by March 22, 2024, at 5 PM

2024 Growth & Involvement Program Application

The Growth and Involvement Program is now accepting applications for its 2024 cohort. Connect with peers statewide to acquire valuable skills, refine your leadership abilities, and strengthen your involvement with the association. The program is open to NMAR members and local board Association Executives. Forge new relationships, broaden your understanding of NMAR, and experience personal and professional growth. Emerging leaders of today will guide the REALTOR® organization and the real estate industry into tomorrow! Learn more about the program here.

2024 REALTOR of the Year Nominations

Each year, the New Mexico Association of REALTORS® recognizes a top real estate leader who has proven they are more than “just a REALTOR®.”

Candidates for the NMAR REALTOR® of the Year are members who have placed high professional principles, community participation, and local, state, and national association involvement at the top of their “to do” list.

They are leaders who:

  • are well-respected by their peers and clients
  • have been active within their local, state and national REALTOR® organizations
  • who have shown REALTOR® spirit and civic involvement.

Every NMAR member, Member Board, and any member of the REALTOR® of the Year Committee may nominate a candidate for this distinguished award and honor.

Candidates will be evaluated on areas such as:

  • High Principles
  • Faithfulness to laws and regulations
  • Local, State, and National level participation in civic and service clubs
  • Charitable activities and fraternal or religious groups
  • Business accomplishments
  • Involvement with their Member Board, the State Association, and the National Association of REALTORS®
  • Other accomplishments
